My name is Liam Kailher, and I play hockey at Tabor Academy. One of my goals is to continue playing hockey at the highest level possible.
Working with Coach Whyte has had a huge impact on me both on and off the ice. He first coached me during my freshman year and has continued to be a trainer, mentor, and role model ever since. Through both his online programs and in-person training, he has helped me become stronger, more athletic, and more confident.
What stands out most is how much he genuinely cares about the athletes he works with. He's always available to answer questions, give advice, and check in, even during the season. He leads by example through his work ethic and discipline, and he's someone I look up to. I just wanted to send a quick note regarding our experience with you and MB Performance Institute. Taylynn has always had a strong work ethic and drive with a strong focus on becoming a Division 1 college softball player. We knew she needed to improve on her strength, conditioning, agility and overall speed to make this dream a reality. When we signed her up for the group sessions at MB and her weekly 1:1 personal training with you, although excited, we debated on whether it would be worth the money and if it would be a constant battle to keep Taylynn motivated to workout.
It has now been roughly 2 months and we couldn’t be happier. Taylynn looks forward to working out everyday after school. I never expected my daughter to enjoy working out 5 days a week. Even better, the results are visible not just to us, but to her coaches and teammates as well. As a catcher, her pop time is improving significantly and is almost in the range of what you would expect from a D1 catcher (and she is only a sophomore). Additionally, her overhand throwing velocity and hitting exit velocity have both improved as well.
Finally, and most notable, Taylynn has always been traditionally the slowest person on every team she has been on. Her run time from home to first base was embarrassing. Taylynn used to joke about it with her team and parents. It was all in fun, but I know it bothered her and was holding her back. Just last week, we had our first scrimmage since Taylynn started working with you. For the first time in Taylynn’s career she beat out an infield single. It was like watching the Red Sox win the World Series…every parent in the stands, coaches and teammates all said the same thing - “WHEN DID TAYLYNN GET SO FAST!” What an amazing feeling to see all the work pay off.
I know I speak for Taylynn when I say “Thank You!” Money very well spent. I will recommend you as a Personal Trainer and MB Performance Institute to all that ask. We look forward to Taylynn’s future both on the field and with you at MB Performance.

My name is Elizabeth Healy and I am going into my senior season as a women’s soccer player at Endicott College. I have had the privilege to train with Steve Whyte at MB Performance Institute this summer in preparing for my upcoming season. I can’t say enough good things about working and training with Steve. He has put in the utmost time, commitment, and energy into putting me in the best possible position entering into my fall season.
From going out of his way in researching my position as a center midfielder and my previous injuries on my shoulder and ankle I had been struggling with, to gearing all of my training and movements into that focus, working with Steve has been the best experience. I gained so much both physically and mentally into what has shaped me into the athlete I am today and what it takes to perform at my top potential. I have never felt more prepared in entering into a season than I have after training with Steve. He provided the most energetic, fun, and productive environment in every session I had with him. I can’t recommend Steve enough to any athlete, no matter what your goals are, to put yourself in the best position to succeed.

My name is Morgan Henderson I play ice hockey at North American Hockey Academy. My goal is to play college hockey.
When I first went to Coach Whyte I told him my goals were to get stronger, faster, and just feel good. He didn’t just throw me into a random workout right away, he took the time to ask me questions, how much do I skate, what’s my schedule like, what workouts have I been doing, how many times a week do I usually workout. He took everything into consideration when building a plan just for me. Coach Whyte takes the time to make you feel comfortable to push yourself and learn from your mistakes. I was able to gain so much more than just getting stronger, faster, and feeling good, I learned how to move like an athlete, and that weightlifting is much more than I thought it was, it’s about building relationships, listening to your body, and improving as an overall person. I’ve had the best experience with Coach Whyte and would recommend him to absolutely anyone and everyone.

My son is a high school senior currently playing hockey. Before the season he was running, lifting and working out on somewhat of a consistent basis. I met coach Whyte and asked if he could speak with my son to give him some direction and insight. Coach Whyte met with my son and they talked about sports, goals, training, recovery, nutrition and more.
It was everything my son needed to hear and help set him on a new path. What came next was exactly what I wanted for my son and what he wanted as well. Coach Whyte put together a strength and conditioning program for the next month leading up to the season based on my son’s strengths and weaknesses and focused on the needs of a hockey player and overall athlete.
